COMIC SUMMIT IN BERLIN

Recommendation for all graphic novel lovers in Berlin:

Christoph Niemann under discussion with Chris Ware about the release of Jimmy Corrigan in German on March 15, 2013, in the frame of the comic summit organised by the internationals literaturfestival berlin.

The reason for Chris Ware’s visit is the release of his graphic novel Jimmy Corrigan in German translation by Berlin’s Reprodukt publishers. The graphic novel, already hailed as a “century comic”, is seen “as one of the few milestones of an entire genre: it stands side by side with Maus by Art Spiegelmann.” (Andreas Platthaus).

The discussion partner and chair of the event are comic experts – Berlin illustrator/graphic designer Christoph Niemann (Abstract City) and Andreas Platthaus (FAZ).

More information about the comic summit on March 15 can be found here.

  1. Ein Traum für jeden Fan von Chris Ware!

Ob es gestattet sein wird, Bücher zur Signatur mitzubringen?

    Beste Grüße,

    Andreas
