Montréal brings to mind snow, first and foremost, and a certain jazz festival of some renown, and, erm… But hold on, isn’t it also the home of Drawn & Quarterly, that lovely publisher of what is commonly known as graphic novel, home to some true gems such as Daniel Clowes, Adrian Tomine, and even some of the works by a certain Chris Ware? It is indeed, and what’s more, they also run their own bookshop which looks reassuringly cozy considering those well below minus temperatures outside, and which, better still, stocks more than only their own wares, or comics in general even, but, word has it, also some fine magazines such as yours truly. From Berlin winter to Montréal winter, and a good match, we think.
