TALKS & LECTURES (A-Z)

On a regular basis Hamburger Bahnhof hosts artist talks and lectures in conjuction with their various exhibitions. Tonight there’s a lecture on Sol LeWitt held by art collector Egidio Marzona, whose collection is shown at the museum. The exhibition A-Z. Die Sammlung Marzona covers and freely interprets every letter of the alphabet. This time the letters JKL are on view; J for joker, K for Kubus (Cube) and L for Sol LeWitt. Berlin-based artist Ruth Buchanan, who also had a talk last week, is the Joker in the exhibition. Ruth Buchanan uses text, images and sculptural work in many different colors and materials. In this exhibition, her work will be shown together with a selection from the Marzona archives.

Talk starts at 6 pm.
