Cat content has become rather popular since the internet became user generated pop. From LOLcats to Kittlers, there’s something catty for anyone. A few days ago Cyriaque Lamar put together a brief history of cat content dating back to the very early days of photography:

We know most of us don’t own or rent a piece of land, don’t have gardens or spacious balconies and sometimes neither huge, tall windows (yes, we live in a big city), nevertheless let us tell you that you can still get your hands dirty!

Terrariums and aeriums have never been as fashionable as they became recently. If you think that’s something too difficult, time consuming or it demands a big effort, sorry to deceive you, but that’s completely wrong. Here you have, herbariums and aeriums made easier. Follow this D.I.Y tutorial (via The Bold Italic) ASAP to put together your mini garden and get ready for Spring.

In case you need some equipment to make sure you properly embellish your herbarium, make sure you check Fort Standard and its beautiful Terra, a geometrical herbarium that will surely fit your indoors deco.

Last but not least, if you’re more of the outdoor type, than we suggest the super ecological Camper Bike, by Kevin Cyr, as well as the Camper Cart option. Though they were both built as sculptural pieces I bet Kevin would gladly put up a D.I.Y tutorial, for the sake of supporting environmental and upcycling movements.

A very nice and sobering fashion shoot seen in the current De:Bug issue, proves us that ‘Hipsterism’ nowadays isn’t that spectacular anymore: Unhappy Hipsters. It’s lonely in the modern world.

Cosy Thursdays presents Kissenkino

Kissenkino (that literally means Pillow Cinema) is a new event happening one evening per month, with the aim of warming up Berlin’s long, sometimes boring and cold winter evenings. Cosy Thursdays propose you to leave the comfort and solitude of your warmed up flat to step into João Cocteau’s space in Neukölln to meet your friends, watch a cool movie together, have some mulled wine and popcorn.

The first event will take place this upcoming thursday, November 24th at 9 pm. The movie which will be screened is to remain a secret until you arrive, as this event is not as much about the movie itself as it is about the experience of leaving the cold outside and watching a movie with your friends in the dark, exactly as we used to do when we were kids. Therefore, the event is free. The only price you have to pay to join, is to bring your own favorite and most comfortable pillow to sit on! You can RSVP in the event Facebook page.

Plattformer, the artist collective that brought you the first DIY concrete table tennis table in London, just launched their latest outdoors object: The Feast Table in London’s Arundel Square. All their projects are put into effect with groups of local children that are thereby introduced to the art of concrete casting. Their most famous project so far is the table tennis table in London Fields – meet some local gangsters for a joint game of ping pong.
