Hong Kong is widely know as shopping heaven for anything to do with fashion, which is true if you’re into the big brands. Anything a bit more underground or avantgarde, however, can be a little tricky to find – an imbalance that is being readjusted somewhat as of today, with the opening of the new premises of Hammer Gallery, a now not so small store for clever and beautiful and affordable accessories. Importing mostly work by independent European designers, it’s a beautiful space that will also soon start serving coffee and pastries Austrian-style, which happens to be another thing that’s hard to find in one of our favourite cities.
