Künstlerhaus Bethanien (pictured above) is hosting a charity performance for Japanese earthquake victims this Saturday (2 April 2011, 6 – 9.30pm). This event has been initiated by Japanese artists in Berlin and its aim is to raise money to especially support children in the areas most affected by the quake. spencer, Masayoshi Fujita, agraph, Akemi Nagao and Takeshi Nishimoto will be appearing without fees and the performance will be free of charge. The audience is instead invited to make a donation for the victims of the earthquake. All donations will be sent to the charitable organisation NPO JEN in Japan, which arranges direct aid to the smaller towns and villages hit by the earthquake.
