Now that we are spending some splendid moments in Glasgow, it’s only appropriate to waste our final act of kindness on the dubious talents of one David Shrigley. See, it’s been years ago that we produced our first set of mono.editionen, and in a way, you can blame it on Shrigley that we thought it might be a good idea to continue. And so for years, we reprinted and reprinted those bags, hundreds and hundreds of them, carrying them with us from fair to fair, packing box after box.
But all good things come to an end, and to be honest, we’re a little tired now of leapfrogging and sunshining, even though there is something to be said for seeing young hipsters in Paris carrying a Shrigley bag, and not just any bag but our bag – the kind of thing that makes you want to run up to a stranger and hug them. Anyway, we need to clear some space for new and different totes, so with a sigh we declare free shipping on those last few handfuls of mono.editionen #01 with the lovely David Shrigley. One week, and one week only, after which we’ll have better things to do. And no, just in case you missed the point, we will not be reprinting anymore – don’t say we didn’t warn you.
