Even though people don’t buy books, they go for a beer without any hesitation. Broken Dimanche Press finds a good solution to that by publishing ‘beer bottles’ as the new issue of The Kakofonie European Journal of Art and Literature. The multi-linguistic journal is known for taking different forms such as parasitic wrapping, ‘the artwork that is not there’ or a video. The Kakofonie 005-Triple E (The Beer Issue), in collaboration with Eric Zboya, derek beaulieu and Oliver Maarschalk, will be held on the 20th of April at O’ Tannenbaum, a cosy bar in Berlin. There will be Conceptual Writing readings as well as screenings of Ubuweb videos curated by derek beaulieu.
