mono.kultur’s main distributor, Motto books, is embarking on an old fashioned exchange with London based publishers KesselsKramer this summer. Motto is a world renowned bookshop in Berlin with an almost cult-like following. Offering a dizzying array of art, design and photography titles, Motto also stocks rare finds, limited editions and out of print gems. The store now comprises more than 3000 titles, with the catalogue being constantly updated.
Motto will take over KK Outlet throughout July. This temporary curated display of artist’s books, writing, monographs, and periodicals at KK Outlet aims to represent the diversity of publications available at Motto. It will also exhibit a series of editions and limited print-runs by artists Motto has worked with, including David Horvitz, Stefan Marx, Jonathan Monk, Venessa Safavi, Erik Steinbrecher, and Erik van der Weijde.
