It’s World Book Lovers Day today and in exciting book news (which you may have already heard) Donna Tartt has a new novel coming out soon! Donna Tartt is one of my all-time favourite authors and if you’ve read The Secret History and The Little Friend you’ll know what I mean. Her new novel is titled The Goldfinch, and I can’t tell you how excited I am to be currently enjoying a reading copy of the book prior to its international release on 22 October, 2013. I haven’t finished it yet (it’s over 700 pages long) but already it has become my favourite book of the year.
