It’s spring (and if we keep saying so, it will stay), Metronomy are returning with a new album called Love Letters as well as with a tour in March, and all is good.

As we start off into the new year with our batteries refilled, here’s an old friend called Monday Music, with a pleasantly nostalgic look backwards to, erm, 1998, by Erol Alkan. Remember those days?

Is Emily Kai Bock the queen of independent music videos? I think she just might be, as she achieved ultimate from the fringes into the mainstream knighthood directing the latest video for this band called Arcade something. But more accurately, she’s simply one of the best video directors around.
