In tune with this weekend’s foray into publishing and design, our friends at the excellent Pro QM bookstore have invited Swiss–American (there it is again…) designer Zak Kyes for a conversation with Matthew Evans about graphic design and ‘other forms of publicity’. Kyes has become something of a shooting star in the British design scene since he took over the art direction at the renowned Architecture Association in London in 2006 and visualized how architectural theory has become something of a pop phenomenon in recent years. In short, Kyes is the man who can make you pick up a book about ‘the perceptions of contemporary European identity and its relation to spatial practices and international politics’.
