Ever wondered what visionary director David Lynch has been up to these past few years since the release of his last cinematic nightmare Inland Empire? Apart from holding up the torch for Transcendental Meditation, exhibiting his paintings and drawings, brewing coffee or getting involved in music projects, he’s also currently producing The Interview Project: a camera team is traveling across the USA and talking to ‘common folks’ in the backlands of America, discussing their daily lives and concerns. If that sounds a little quaint, well, Lynch wouldn’t be Lynch if he couldn’t sense something bizarre lurking underneath the surface. But let the man explain for himself.
Oh, and make sure to tune into his daily weather report – no kidding. There is no better example for what they call a ‘Lynchean moment’.
