After the drama of Ai Weiwei’s hospitalisation due to beatings that he suffered in Sichuan, his exhibition at Haus der Kunst in Munich is ready to open on Sunday. It is AWW’s largest retrospective to date, so make sure to make your way to South Germany at some point. HdK was also inspired by Ai Weiwei’s passion for blogs to install their own, where staff and AWW himself document the process of the exhibition. Or you can follow Ai Weiwei’s personal blog – or one of them – it’s mainly in Chinese but then again, photographs speak for themselves.
