Expressive Social Media

Ever since the xPhone (sorry, German only), we know there’s nothing a smartphone can’t do. Apart from those things only mutiple smartphones can do.

Due to the fact that Stradivari produced only a strictly limited edition of instruments (of which some are in the hands of evil emperors like André Rieu today), the Digital Revolution had to find a new approach to the idea of “expressive social media” and proudly presented the Ocarina App in 2008. Maybe too deeply rooted in a 12.000 year ago clay tradition, this milestone app has become outdated by collaborative efforts already: A new generation of smartphone developers musicians around Ge Wang and Georg Essl today enters the stage as academic ensemble. Hence, even if Zelda tunes are hard to beat, there might be more to come, yet.
