German weekly paper Der Freitag has cooperated with onlinefilm.org to create a vast online archive of independent feature and documentary film in several languages. You can browse alphabetically, preview large parts of the films and download them. The fee for downloading has been negotiated for each film individually with the film-maker and the archive. For example The Invisible Frame (the sequel to Cycling the Frame from 1988) starring Tilda Swinton costs €5,00 and you can choose between 6 different subtitle languages. And there are a couple of free films available as well.
