Dear All,
well, what can we say? We’re still a little dizzy from last night – who would have thought that so many people would come out to celebrate with us on a freezing winter’s night? Our sincere apologies to everyone who came all the way just to be turned away at the door, but we sincerely did not anticipate that a space as large as Roderich would fill up as fast as it did. And speaking of which, we should maybe mention at this point that the brave guys at the Kultursalon are having some severe differences with German bureaucracy these days, which also explains why we weren’t allowed to bring in our own sound system, which in turn explains the technical problems we were experiencing. All in all, not the best of circumstances, but that’s the way it goes – we still had a great night, though. So, in short, our apologies for any shortcomings, and our thanks to everyone for coming, and in particular to our DJs Ute and Disscoxx, and to the mighty Rangleklods, and of course to Andy and Carsten for the shortest DJ battle in history. To be continued another time and another place, and we’ll promise to go twice as large, twice as loud. Yes!
PS. We’ve received a few complaints from people who were not treated very nicely at the door – our sincere apologies for that, the entrance was not handled by us personally.
