The ever unpredictable fashion/product/life designers at Bless have returned with a new store in Berlin which shakes up the concept of a store somewhat – located in a regular flat on the third floor of a residential building in Prenzlauer Berg district in Berlin, you enter an entire world created and designed by, well, Bless.
The coat racks and shelves will be filled with their latest and not-so-latest collections, the bed is of course made up in their Team-Ups bedding, but you can also sample their fantastic Workbed – a large working table that can be converted into a bed at night – or their mobile furniture and hoover chairs, not to speak of one of their highly covetable hammocks. Now, if that sounds a little over-designed, it actually feels like the opposite: it’s a living proof that all the products by Bless, which at times sound somewhat contrived, actually work beautifully in a home environment. So what in a regular store sometimes seemed a little absurd at times, now really comes to life.
