BERLIN FASHION WEEK #05: DRIES VAN NOTEN AT ANDREAS MURKUDIS

Today open the doors to the new and apparently amazing location of Berlin’s most important and innovative fashion store, Andreas Murkudis, on Potsdamer Strasse on the former premises of Tagesspiegel newspaper. To mark the occasion, our cover star of issue #20, the wonderful Belgian designer Dries van Noten, launches a special project which will be running for the next two months: a dress from their forthcoming autumn/winter collection is available for individual adaptation. With the collection being based on patchwork patterns and the dress in question, called Daya, consisting of five different fabrics and prints, Dries van Noten offers a unique opportunity to put together your personal choice out of thirty different fabrics from their archives and thus customize the design to your own liking. Dresses will be produced on order and delivered in October, for the same price as the original.
