That’s exactly the sort of feeling you get with The Travel Almanac, a beautiful and somewhat superfluous new independent publication from Berlin on traveling in style. While the conversations with the likes of David Lynch or Will Oldham are casual and not exactly challenging fare, the entire feel of the magazine is just right, with a subtle sense of quality and a slight whiff of elegance and luxury – just enough to give you the sensation of indulging yourself a little.
