NO ‘CUTS’ IN THE FILM

The filmmaker and artist Philippe Parreno is going to present his new film Continuously Habitable Zones, aka C.H.Z. His work primarily revolves around the interrogation of the nature of an image, as well as the modes of its exhibition.

‘There are no ‘cuts’ in the film but only stretching and folding of the landscape. Because of the camera’s presence, because of the possibility of fiction, the land becomes the film.’ Leave your 3D-glasses at home! This will be impressive enough in 2D!

The 14-minute-film is going to have its premiere on Sunday, followed by an interview with the artist by Hans-Ulrich-Obrist.
