AND THERE WAS LIGHT…

If you happen to be in London over the next few weeks, make sure to catch Light Show at the Hayward Gallery – undoubtedly the best exhibition I’ve seen of the year so far. Bringing together 22 works in which artists have used light as their primary medium, the show includes installations from James Turrell, Olafur Eliasson, Jenny Holzer, Dan Flavin and more, and certainly provides a feast for your eyes. Ranging from surreal sculptural forms, atmospheric rooms and projections, the show plays with your perception of space and even time (as I found, after spending probably far longer than is healthy gawping at strobe lights). It finishes on 6th May and rumour has it that tickets are selling out fast, so be quick to grab one here.
