It’s rare that we will recommend the Brandenburg Gate or the Reichstag when people ask us what to see when coming to Berlin. Not that these are a waste of time, but there are other places and sights woven into the fabric of our lives in the city that we will feel much closer to. So we think it’s a stroke of genius by our friend Elias Redstone to ask a series of British architecture journalists to recommend architectural gems in the city of London, and why. The outcome – aptly named Lesser Known Architecture – is now on view at the Design Museum, rendered in beautiful monochromatic photographs by Theo Simpson.
