For Mathilda is a new gallery space in Neukölln founded by Marc Wellmann and Anna Töws. The space is dedicated to exhibiting second hand art and up and coming artists, with works ranging from the 19th century to contemporary pieces. “We believe that art should be accessible and affordable. Young artists should have a space to present their work, and old pictures should not collect dust.” Indeed.

Come celebrate the opening of the gallery later today. Works by David Shrigley, Max Ernst, Tracey Emin and Berlin-based Ziga Tomori, among others, will be on display.
