Whenever I look at Sandy Kim’s photos, I’m instantly homesick for San Francisco. They capture the best parts of The City – rope swings, Dolores Park, cheap beer, endless vistas, good friends and wild nights and lazy mornings. Basically the opposite of my seven-day work week in New York. The great new Bay Area-based publishing house Unpiano is releasing a book of her photos (their first, actually), and if you’re in SF this week, definitely stop by the release party at Ever Gold Gallery. Or you can live the good life, vicariously at least, through Sandy’s blog.
