Berlin loves Rufus Wainwright – and Rufus loves Berlin!
For the recording of his album Release the Stars in 2008, the Canadian singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright spent several weeks in Berlin and now comes back with a solo program with songs from his new album All Days Are Nights: Songs For Lulu – don’t miss his concert at Volksbühne on May 19, tickets are still available here.
Together with the Scottish film artist Douglas Gordon, Rufus produced these haunting tour visuals, in which he flutters his kohl-splashed eye for a camera shooting at 1,000 frames per second.
