Finding a pair of glasses, sun or otherwise, can be a huge pain in the arse, in case you’re not too inspired by aerodynamic, bendy, flimsy things that are supposed to make you look, well, modern, presumably, as in aerodynamic, bendy, flimsy. Anyway, personally, I always thought that glasses in the past looked so much better than nowadays, as unfortunately so often is the case. So I’m super excited to have discovered Warby Parker, who make me want to wear their glasses just for the sake of it.

A young American company run by four friends, Warby Parker not only get their looks from the past, since you don’t always need to reinvent the wheel – they also distribute exclusively via their online store to be able to keep their prices below $100 a pair, which is nice. But not only that, they even have a social conscience: for every pair of glasses they sell, they donate one pair to a person in need, working with various charities across the U.S. and the third world, which is even nicer.

I can’t wait for them to start producing sunglasses. Come on guys!
