Joining us at the last minute for tomorrow evening’s publishing roundtable is another worthy Berlin project that goes by Il Paradiso. Published annually every spring, it comes just in time for planning your summer travels – which is just as well, with Il Paradiso dedicating each issue to one country and with summer very much in mind. And yet, Il Paradiso doesn’t really compare to your average travel magazine, but is more of a very personal portrait of a place, picking out people, customs and national curiosities in such a charming, mouthwatering style that it makes you immediately want to pack your bags and rediscover Italy, France, or currently Sweden. Published by photography consulting studio Andreas Wellnitz, Il Paradiso is, needless to say, perfectly executed and carries a lightness and effortlessness throughout its pages that work their magic well beyond summer.
