What’s nice about selling in fashion stores is that they really care not only about their products but also very much about how they are displayed, and in what kind of environment. Each item is presented as something particularly precious, and of course that’s how we like to think of our little endeavour on days [...]

In Europe, we take well-sorted and -curated art book stores for granted – most major European cities will have an outlet for independent magazines like mono.kultur. Asia is a different matter, however, and one is grateful for any newsagent that will stock English titles in the first place, and be they Time and Hello!
