Dear Friends,
as we’re about to release our forthcoming issue with the admirable Mr Dave Eggers – more on which very soon indeed – we cordially invite you to the informal and suitably autumnal launch event this Saturday at 17h at our friends at Do You Read Me?!. Time plays funny tricks and since we really like numbers, how about this event celebrating not only our fifth anniversary (well yes, we like celebrating, true), but also the second anniversary of the wonderful Do You Read Me?!, and not only that: it also happens to be our 25th issue of mono.kultur, and, what’s more, our 30th event of mono.klub. Which makes all the stars align in a nifty little row of 2 / 5 / 25 / 30.
So there, all the more reason to join us for some tea and coffee and bubbly, and to throw in a little cultural experience, we’re very pleased to have American writer and journalist and McSweeney’s associate Gideon Lewis-Kraus reading from Dave Eggers’ first novel A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, as well his most recent, Zeitoun.
